  • Eugene Cester

    Managing Director

    Eugene is a multi-skilled lawyer, commercial adviser, designer, developer, director and owner of several property enterprises.

    Renowned for his hands on, innovative and solution driven approach to all aspects of commercial activities, his career spans more than 35 years within the property sector.

    Eugene’s vision for the future of SDA is heavily influenced by his regular consultations with key stakeholders in the sector. These are critical in assisting Leben’s executives define a promising future with an emphasis on quality, innovation, leadership and above all integrity in delivering appropriate and participant driven housing solutions.

  • Nigel Brophy

    Commercial Director

    Nigel boasts an extensive 35-year career in Australia’s infrastructure, real estate, and construction markets. His expertise spans large-scale project leadership from inception to completion, covering structured finance, PPP ventures, social housing, education, health, justice, defence, and real estate development..

    With profound skills in strategy, feasibility, risk mitigation, project finance, and asset management, he adeptly manages complex projects. Nigel now serves as an independent consultant, undertaking commercial advisory, development and transaction management roles.

  • Aidan O’Connor

    Operations Director

    Aidan has been in the development and construction industry since 1988. He manages day-to-day operations and Leben’s processes, including project costing, builder contract administration, cash flow and finance reporting, and tendering. He plays an integral role in overseeing all accounts, payroll and employer obligations.

    Aidan’s expertise as a senior financial and commercial manager comes from his extensive experience in corporate reporting, project management and knowledge of integrated development systems.

  • Jimmy McGrane

    Design Director

    Jimmy has been in the development and construction industry since 1990 and as one of Leben Homes’ four directors, oversees all of the estimating, tendering, contract management, project management, design management and development management across every project.

    He is highly experienced in design management, value engineering and value management throughout the contract award and design development process.

  • Danny McGrane

    Operations Manager

    Danny McGrane is a highly skilled construction and development management professional with over 10 years of experience in the industry now expanding and specialising his skills in the delivery of developments and services in the health-related field. He is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in health science at La Trobe University.

    He eagerly accepted the opportunity to work with Leben Homes and the SDA sector, where he found a natural fit between his experience in construction and development and his passion for equitable health outcomes. As a project manager, he is excelling at achieving meaningful and impactful outcomes for NDIS participants.

  • Wayne Peters

    Development Manager

    Wayne has thirty years of commercial property development and development management experience working with various property developers within Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.

    He is an exceptional development manager with experience in delivering over 1,200 residential apartments and townhouses (19 projects), commercial office and industrial developments, SDA and health related assets covering all facets of development to delivery of the final product.

    Project Manager

    Steve is a project management professional with an exemplary record of bringing people together to implement projects that meet stakeholder expectations. He is a technically focused, pragmatic manager who has worked collaboratively across a range of industries and cultures.

    For almost 30 years, he has provided project management leadership across the energy, health services, and property sectors demanding excellence in project control, collaboration and time management.

    Difficult, time- sensitive solutions have been delivered through an exemplary record of pulling teams together to provide service excellence with an entrepreneurial spirit and reputation as a hard-working leader who gets things done.
